Best Firework Displays in London 2013
Today, November 5th is Bonfire Night, which means there are stunning fireworks displays across London this evening and over the weekend. We've gathered together some of the very best from every corner of the capital for you to take your pick.

Central London
Lord Mayor's Show
Where? River Thames, SE1
When? Saturday 9th - 5pm
How Much? Free
The huge Lord Mayor's show will be winding its way through the centre of London on Saturday and will end in one of the biggest firework displays in the Capital. Set off from barges on the Thames between Waterloo and Blackfriars bridges, more than half a million people are expected to watch from the banks.
North London
Fortismere School
Where? Muswell Hill, N2
When? Gates open 6pm, display starts 7.30pm

One of the best displays in North London, it isn't even all about the fireworks at this school. There will also be a whole range of entertainment including fire-eaters, fairground rides and food & drink stalls. Make sure you buy your ticket in advance.
Primrose Hill
Where? Primrose Hill, NW1
When? Anytime
How Much? Free
Traditionally the site for one of the best displays in London, there is no longer fireworks actually on the Hill anymore. However, it is still one of the best places to spend the evening of Bonfire Night, with stunning views over the whole of central London.
South London
Brockwell Park
Where? Herne Hill, SE24
When? Tuesday 5th - Gates open 5pm, display starts 8pm
How Much? Free
With a theme of the four seasons and created by the team behind the fireworks at the London Olympics this is sure to be one of the best displays in the capital. Alongside the fireworks, there will be the normal stalls, food, music and funfair rides.
Crystal Palace
Where? Crystal Palace Park, SE20
When? Tuesday 5th - First display 7pm, second display 8.30pm
How Much? £6
The best thing about this is that there are two displays. The first with fewer bangs is perfect for children, whilst on the later one, they can really let loose with the huge explosions and music.
East London
Waltham Forest
Where? Chestnut Field, E17
When? Tuesday 5th - Gates open 6pm, display starts 8pm
How Much? Free
Held behind the town hall, expect a spectacular display along with music, food, drink and stalls.
Barking Park
Where? Barking, IG11
When? Saturday 9th - Gates open 5.30pm, display starts 8pm
How Much? £5
One of the best options for the weekend, this huge Bonfire festival has all the normal stalls and rides, but also music from local acts on a live stage. And of course a cracking firework display.
West London
Brent
Where? Roundwood Park, NW10
When? Tuesday 5th - Gates open noon, display starts 8pm
How Much? Free
This is an all-day event, with a funfair opening at midday for children. There will then be a children's display at 6.30pm, before the main big one takes over.
