Top University Figure Warns Against Cuts

A leader of the UK University and College Union (UCU) has warned that government cuts in higher education could end up costing the country more money. Graduation rates in the UK have dropped in recent years and Sally Hunt, the union's general secretary, told members that "it is ignorance that is the expensive option, not education".
