Find Accommodation
If you haven't yet found somewhere to live then it is a top priority. Search our accommodation page for the latest listings.  |
Register With A Doctor
It is very important to register with a GP (a local doctor in the UK) early on and to check whether you qualify for free health cover with the NHS.  |
Set up a Bank Account
Having a UK bank account is essential but can be confusing to set up. You can open an international bank account, or use international payments.  |

Get Insurance
Get specialised student insurance that covers personal property (for if you get anything stolen), medical and travel all in one.  |
Arrange Transport
You can save lots of money and time on travel by getting an Oyster card straight away (if you are in London) and booking your return flights early.  |
Buy the Student Essentials
At the start of a new course in a new country, you will need everything from text books, to groceries. Find it all in our special Freshers Shop.  |
