The University of Cambridge is considered one of the best universities not just in the UK, but in the world. It is split into 31 colleges spread throughout the beautiful city of Cambridge, and almost a quarter of its students are from abroad.
Students can choose from a wide range of academic courses in both arts and science. The courses are taught in an almost unique way, as students attend small weekly teaching groups called supervisions where they discuss the week’s work with their tutor and just one or two other students.
Life at Cambridge is impacted by the University’s college system. Students live, eat and study at their college, and much of a Cambridge student’s social and sporting life also revolves around their college, which acts as a small community within the larger university.
